How to Repaint Flaking External Walls

You will need:

  • High-pressure cleaner
  • Paintbrush
  • Roller and tray
  • Acrylic filler
  • Caulking gun
  • Plaster primer
  • Exterior paint

Step 1:

Use the high-pressure cleaner to spray all flaking paint off the wall. Make sure that it has all been removed. Leave the wall to dry properly.

Once the wall is completely dry, apply a good quality plaster primer as an undercoat.

Step 3:

Fill all holes and cracks with acrylic filler before applying a second coat of plaster primer.

Step 4:

Apply the first layer of top coat and leave it to dry properly. Then apply a second and even a third coat, if required.
