RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Obtaining all delivery notes from Goods Receiving
  • Processing of a Goods Received Note for each batched delivery note and order
  • Investigating any discrepancies immediately (i.e. damaged goods, wrong goods)
  • Batching and forwarding the day’s GRN packs to the Creditors clerk
  • Filing of GRN’s and other relevant documentation

External Sales Representative – The Tile House

Applicants are invited to apply for the position of External Sales Representative  at The Tile House

 

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To provide an external presence in the building materials market for the company, following up contacts for new business as well as providing an external link between the store and the existing customer base.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Increasing customer base by
  • Conducting “cold calls” to new / potential customers
  • Representing The Tile house positively in the market place
  • Structured calls to existing customers
  • Attaining monthly sales budgets
  • Following up on quotations
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Offering advice and/or alternatives to customers
  • General administrative tasks

 

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years’ Architectural Design experience
  • 3 years’ experience as an external sales representative
  • Strong client base within the relevant industry
  • Own vehicle
  • Valid driver’s license
